What Maps Agent refuses to do

Maps Agent refuses four things that are normal in local marketing: sales pressure, lock-in contracts, a dashboard you have to learn, and content nobody checks. Each refusal below stands next to the mechanism that makes it true today. Every price is published: Autopost $39/mo, AI Team $99/mo, Partner $149/mo.

01

Will anyone call me to sell this?

No. Maps Agent has no salespeople.

Local marketing is normally sold on a call, because a call is where urgency gets manufactured and where the price finally appears.

How it is true

  • There is no field for a phone number anywhere on this site. Not on the audit, not on the request form, not at payment. There is nothing to call you on.
  • Every price is published on the pricing page before you talk to anyone, and none of them is behind a request.
  • One call exists, on the Partner tier, and you book it yourself. It is a video call to meet the people who would run the account, and the price is already on the page before it happens.

02

Is there a contract, a term, or a notice period?

No. Every plan bills by the month.

A contract in this field usually does its work at the exit rather than at the entrance: an annual default, a notice window, one more charge after the last month.

How it is true

  • Every plan in the catalog bills monthly. There is no annual term, no minimum number of months, and no notice period to serve.
  • Cancelling is an email, and it is never a call. Nobody will ask you to get on the phone to leave.
  • Said plainly, because it is true today: cancelling is an email to us rather than a button in an account screen, because the account screen is not built yet. We would rather write that sentence than show you a button that does not exist.

03

Do I have to learn a dashboard?

No. There is no console to log into.

Software in this field usually hands the owner a control panel and calls that the product. A control panel is work, and it is the work the owner was trying to hand over.

How it is true

  • Your report is a page you open from a link. No password, no console, no settings to configure, and nothing to check daily.
  • Everything asked of you happens once, after payment: one short form about your services and your offer, and an invitation to your Google Business Profile as a manager.
  • That form stays open afterwards. Update it when something about the business changes, and the next cycle is made from the new answers.

04

Who checks what goes out on my profile?

Nothing ships unminded.

Generated content is cheap, and the cheapest thing to skip is the check that the words are true about this particular business.

How it is true

  • The Researcher traces facts back to real pages of your site, and claims it cannot trace are dropped rather than invented.
  • The AI Editor checks what the writers produce against the facts of your real business, and against two dozen categories of risky claims.
  • People sit above the machine. The researchers study the ranking systems and the AI answer surfaces and improve the methods the team works by. They work on the agents, not on you.
  • On the Partner tier, human specialists direct and verify everything the team ships, and put your own photographs on the profile instead of generated images.

Why we will not sell you urgency

“There’s no way to request or pay for a better local ranking on Google.”

That sentence is Google’s own, and it is the reason a call cannot make a profile move faster than the work does. So there is nothing for a salesperson to sell you on the phone, and there is no ranking position for anyone to guarantee. What can be promised is the work: listed item by item on the pricing page, done by the roster, and reported back to you.

What we have not built yet

An account screen with a cancel button. Until it exists, cancelling is an email, and this page says so instead of printing a button we do not have.

A refund policy. There is none published, because one has not been written. We would rather leave the line blank than print something the company has not decided.

A checkout on the site. Today the sale closes with a plan for your first month and an invoice, and the company that bills you is named on it.

Questions people ask before the audit

What does Maps Agent give away for free?
The Visibility Score audit. It reads your Google Business Profile the way the team would on day one, scores it, and shows you what is missing and how you compare with up to ten local businesses you compete with. No card, no call, and no obligation to buy anything afterwards.
Does Maps Agent guarantee a ranking position?
No, and nobody honestly can. Google states in its own documentation that a better local ranking cannot be requested or paid for. What we commit to is the work itself, listed item by item on the pricing page, and a report showing what was done and what moved.
How do I cancel?
You send one email. There is no call, no retention conversation, no notice period, and no form designed to be hard to find. Billing is monthly, so nothing renews beyond the month you cancelled in. When the account screen exists, the same thing becomes a button.
Do I have to give Maps Agent access to my Google Business Profile?
Yes, and only after you have paid. The access is a manager invitation you send from your own profile, which means you keep ownership and you can remove it yourself at any time without asking us. We never ask for your Google password.
Is there a refund policy?
There is no published policy, because one has not been written yet, and we will not print a promise the company has not decided. What exists instead is monthly billing and cancellation by email, so the most you are ever committed to is the month you are in.
Are there real people involved, or is it only software?
Both, and the split is stated rather than blurred. The specialist roles that work on your profile are AI agents. The people are researchers who build and improve those agents, and on the Partner tier a human team that directs and verifies the work and meets you first.
