- Business name and location when you use our free Visibility Score tool
- Email address if you choose to receive your full audit report
- Contact information if you request a consultation
Information from public sources:
- Business name, address, phone number from Google Business Profiles
- Review data (rating, count, review text) from Google Maps
- Business owner name and email from public business directories
- Profile completeness data (photos, hours, categories, services)
Data sources: Google Maps (via DataForSEO API), public business directories (via Outscraper API), publicly available websites.
Automatically collected: Standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use tracking pixels or open-tracking in emails.
CCPA categories of personal information collected:
- Identifiers — name, email address, IP address
- Commercial information — business name, service subscription records
- Internet or network activity — browsing history on our site, pages visited
- Geolocation data — business address (from public sources)
- Professional or employment information — business owner name, business type
3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our website uses only essential cookies required for site functionality (session management, theme preference). We do not use third-party advertising cookies, analytics tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies. We do not use invisible tracking pixels or open-rate tracking in our emails.

- To send commercial email communications about our GBP optimization services
- To generate audit reports and competitor comparisons
- To improve our services and analysis algorithms
- To comply with legal obligations
5. Email Communications
We may send commercial email messages about our GBP optimization services. Every email includes a physical mailing address, clear identification as a commercial message, and an unsubscribe link that is processed immediately. We comply with CAN-SPAM Act requirements.
We do not use invisible tracking pixels or open-rate tracking in our emails.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
We share personal information with service providers who assist in operating our business. These providers are contractually required to protect your data:
- Smartlead — email delivery
- MillionVerifier, ZeroBounce — email address verification
- DataForSEO — business data from Google Maps
- Outscraper — business directory data enrichment
- Supabase — database hosting (US data centers)
- Vercel — web hosting (US data centers)
- Anthropic — AI analysis (data not used for training)
We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing request under applicable US state privacy laws.
To exercise your rights: Email privacy@maps-agent.com or submit a request through our Do Not Sell My Info page. We will respond to opt-out requests within 15 business days and to data access or deletion requests within 45 days. If you request a copy of your personal information, we will provide it in a commonly used electronic format (such as CSV or JSON).
8. Data Retention
- Business data with no engagement: up to 12 months, then deleted
- Engaged contacts: up to 24 months from last interaction
- Suppression list (email address only): retained indefinitely to comply with CAN-SPAM
- Audit reports: retained for 12 months
9. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are designed for businesses and are not directed to individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
