Where your data comes from, and the API we do not have
There is no Maps Agent API
We do not publish an API, and there is nothing to integrate against. If you found this page looking
for one, that is the answer.
How we reach your profile
Not through an app you connect. You invite us to your Google Business Profile with the manager
role, the same way you would invite a member of staff, and you remove that access whenever you like.
There is no OAuth connect flow and no permission we hold outside that invitation.
What we read
- Your public profile: what a customer sees: categories, hours, description, photos, attributes
- Where you appear in local search: measured from public results, not from an internal Google feed
- Nearby competitors: the same public fields, so the comparison is like for like
- What people search for: through established search-data providers
What we write
Only what your tier includes, on your profile: posts, product and service updates, the description,
categories and attributes. Nothing outside the plan you bought, and nothing on any other surface.
Between customers
Nothing is shared. Each profile is worked on its own, and no business's data informs another's.
