What data do we access?

Transparency about data access is important. Here is a complete list of the data Maps Agent accesses and what we do with it.

Data we access (public)

All of this data is publicly available on Google Maps and your Google Business Profile:

Business name Identify your profile and personalize content
Address/location Target local search terms for your area
Phone number Include in reporting, verify profile accuracy
Business categories Optimize for the right search categories
Reviews (public) Analyze sentiment, track review trends
Google Posts Monitor post performance, inform new content
Business description Optimize with relevant keywords
Hours of operation Ensure accuracy, suggest updates
Photos (count) Assess profile completeness
Q&A Monitor and respond to customer questions
Attributes Ensure all relevant attributes are set

Data we collect from you

Data Purpose
Email address Account communication and billing
Business name Service delivery
Payment information Processed securely by our payment provider

Data we do NOT access

  • Google account passwords or credentials
  • Private analytics dashboards (unless explicitly shared)
  • Customer names, emails, or personal data from reviews
  • Financial data beyond billing
  • Employee information
  • Internal business documents

Data retention

  • Active accounts: Data is retained while your subscription is active
  • Cancelled accounts: Data is deleted within 90 days of cancellation, unless you request immediate deletion
  • Free audit users: Audit data is retained for 30 days, then automatically deleted
