Maps Agent takes data privacy seriously. Here is what data we access, how we use it, and how we protect it.
What data we access
Maps Agent accesses only publicly available information from your Google Business Profile:
- Business name, address, phone number
- Categories and attributes
- Reviews and Q&A (public)
- Google Posts
- Business description
- Hours of operation
We do not access:
- Your Google account credentials
- Private Google Business Profile analytics (unless you grant access)
- Customer personal data
- Financial information beyond billing
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to:
- Generate your Visibility Score
- Identify optimization opportunities
- Create content for your Google Posts and profile
- Track your ranking performance
- Generate your monthly reports
We do not sell, share, or trade your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Security measures
- Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
- Access control: Only authorized systems access your profile data
- Infrastructure: Hosted on Vercel and Supabase with SOC 2 compliant infrastructure
- Data minimization: We collect only what is needed to provide the service
CCPA compliance
As a California-based company, Maps Agent complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- You can request to know what data we have about you
- You can request deletion of your data
- You can opt out of data sales (we do not sell data, but the option is available)
