How often does Maps Agent update my listing?
Maps Agent works continuously, but different types of optimizations happen at different frequencies.
Weekly
- Google Posts: At least one post per week (4+ per month)
- Q&A monitoring: Questions are checked and answered regularly
Monthly
- Product/service updates: 4 updates per month
- Keyword analysis: Monthly review of ranking performance for your target terms
- Performance report: Detailed monthly report with Visibility Score trends
As needed
- Category adjustments: When we identify a better category fit
- Description updates: When keyword research reveals new opportunities
- Strategy pivots: When competitive landscape changes or Google updates its algorithm
What triggers a change?
Maps Agent does not change things for the sake of changing them. Updates are triggered by:
- Data signals — Ranking changes, new competitor activity, search trend shifts
- Schedule — Regular posting cadence for profile freshness
- Opportunities — New keywords, seasonal relevance, industry events
Will I be notified of changes?
You will receive a monthly report summarizing all optimizations made, their impact on your Visibility Score, and the plan for the next month. You do not need to review or approve individual changes — that is the point of autonomous optimization.
