How do I appeal more than 10 Google Business Profiles at once?
Use Google's Business Profile appeals tool, select one suspended profile, answer Yes to the prompt about 10 or more suspended locations, attach a spreadsheet with the Business Profile ID for each suspended location and any optional supporting documents, then submit once. Appeal an account restriction through My accounts first.
Is the problem an account restriction or a profile suspension?
An account restriction affects the Google Account and its associated profiles, while an individual profile suspension uses the Business Profile appeals tool.
An account restriction suspends all Business Profiles associated with the restricted Google Account and blocks that account from creating or claiming other profiles. When Google's notice identifies an account restriction, open the My accounts page, submit the account appeal, and track it there. After Google lifts the restriction, submit the separate appeal for the Business Profile suspension. Google's account and profile suspension guidance documents this order.
An individual profile suspension uses the Business Profile appeals tool. The existing answer on fixing a Google Business Profile when it breaks or is suspended covers the single-profile diagnosis before this bulk route.
How do I submit the bulk appeal?
Open Google's Business Profile appeals tool, select one suspended profile, choose Yes for the 10-or-more prompt, attach the spreadsheet and optional evidence, and submit the appeal once.
Google's Fix suspended or disabled profiles page gives this sequence:
- Open the Google Business Profile appeals tool and sign in to the Google Account related to the profiles.
- Select the suspended Business Profile you want to appeal, then select Continue. If you manage more than 10 Business Profiles, the tool asks, “Are you requesting bulk reinstatement for 10 or more suspended locations?”
- Select Yes, then select Continue.
- Attach a spreadsheet containing the Business Profile ID for each suspended location. Add any supporting documentation you plan to use.
- If you add evidence, select Add and Choose file. Google allows multiple files, and its bulk instructions say the business name and address on each document must exactly match your registration.
- Check the box stating, “I'm ready to submit this appeal and confirm that all optional supporting evidence is attached,” then select Submit appeal.
Google says appeals can only be submitted once. Prepare the sheet and evidence before selecting Submit appeal.
What should go in the spreadsheet and evidence packet?
The spreadsheet must include the Business Profile ID for each suspended location, while supporting evidence is optional.
Google's bulk instructions identify one required spreadsheet item and describe the supporting evidence as optional:
| Item | What Google's instructions say |
|---|---|
| Spreadsheet | Include the Business Profile ID for each suspended location. |
| Supporting evidence | Examples include official business registration, a business license, tax certificates, and business utility bills. |
| File count | Multiple supporting files can be attached. |
| Name and address check | The business name and address on each document must exactly match your registration. |
Google does not publish a broader required column list or a document-to-row attachment scheme in the bulk instructions. Treat any extra tracking columns, file names, or internal matching method as your own preparation system, not as a Google-required template. The Google Business Profile suspension appeal checklist is a reader-created preparation aid for recording those checks.
Google's separate appeal guidance for profile restrictions recommends preparing evidence before submission when you plan to include it. The same page says supporting evidence should match the Business Profile's business name and address; the bulk instructions use the stricter wording that the documents must exactly match your registration.
How do I track a bulk appeal after I submit it?
The appeals tool reports status and sends the decision email only for the profile selected at the start of the bulk appeal.
Track each suspended location separately. Google says the appeals tool changes status only for the profile selected at the start of the bulk appeal, and sends one decision email for that selected profile. The other profiles included in the spreadsheet do not receive status updates in that tool.
| What you can see | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Status in the appeals tool | The profile selected for the bulk appeal. |
| Decision email | The profile selected for the bulk appeal. |
| Other locations | Keep a separate record of each Business Profile ID and its own outcome. |
Google lists these appeal-tool statuses: Submitted, Approved, Not Approved, Can't be appealed, and Eligible for appeal. For the wider operating context around multiple locations, see local SEO for multi-location businesses and franchises.
What should I do while Google reviews the appeal?
While Google reviews the appeal, wait for the decision, avoid another appeal for the same issue, and do not create a duplicate Business Profile.
Keep the existing profiles, wait for the decision, and do not send another appeal for the same issue while the first one is pending. Google's profile-restriction guidance says review and decisions can take up to 5 business days. It also says not to create a new Business Profile for the same business.
If Google does not approve a reinstatement request, an additional review may be available. Google says that review can accept evidence that was not included with the original appeal. A denied request is a different state from a pending appeal, so do not use the additional-review option as a reason to submit repeated appeals before Google decides the first one.
Does Google's bulk route include exactly 10 profiles?
Google's published wording does not settle whether exactly 10 profiles qualify for the bulk route.
Google's published wording leaves the exactly-10 boundary unclear. The page section is titled “Appeal more than 10 Business Profiles,” while the tool asks, “Are you requesting bulk reinstatement for 10 or more suspended locations?” Google says the prompt appears when you manage more than 10 profiles. Use the eligibility question the tool presents, and do not treat exactly 10 as confirmed eligible or ineligible from Google's published wording alone.
