Appointments Redirect is a partner-side integration, not the generic Google Business Profile booking link that a business adds to its profile. Google describes a separate partner path: review merchant and service eligibility, read the integration overview, then complete the partner interest form or work with a Google Business Development contact.1,2 The online booking setup guide covers the ordinary profile choices. The Google Actions Center partner onboarding guide covers the related Reservations End-to-End partner model.
Eligibility is conditional. Google requires the merchant data to match a business in Google Maps and the integration overview requires a physical location with an address Google can match. The service must clearly describe what the customer is booking, be accurate, and be bookable by the general public. The action link must lead to a merchant-specific page for the relevant action. Google also limits eligibility by merchant type and country, and says those tables are not exhaustive and are updated periodically.3,4 Service-area businesses are a special case: automatic matching is unavailable, so a partner must match them manually in the Actions Center Partner Portal.5
Partner obligations continue after matching. Submitted data must include merchant names and addresses, services with pricing, and availability.5 Google lists setup, Sandbox feeds and review, Production feeds and review, and launch as required integration stages. For emergency technical issues, Google says partners should use commercially reasonable efforts to respond to and resolve them within 1 business day. For non-emergency technical or production issues, the commitment is to respond within 2 business days. Google may disable an integration or its inventory, and each outcome has a limit of one appeal.3,4
Appointments Redirect does not mean that every booking is completed inside Google, that every business or service qualifies, or that it is the same as adding your own booking URL to a Google Business Profile. Google sends the customer to the provider's landing page for the booking, while ordinary profile links and provider setup follow the separate choices described in Google's Business Profile Help.1,2
