Google Business Profile booking integration
Definition
A Google Business Profile booking integration connects a Business Profile to a booking path through a business-supplied link or a booking provider Google surfaces on the profile. Google documents these mechanisms under separate names, not as one product with this exact name.1,2,3

Google’s public pages describe the underlying mechanisms as business links, bookings through a provider, and Reserve with Google, but not under this exact umbrella phrase. This entry uses the phrase as Maps Agent’s descriptive umbrella.1,2,3,4 A booking link is a URL added to a transaction button on a Google Business Profile. Google says the link must lead to a dedicated page for the business, or to the specific location for a multi-location business, and let the customer complete the designated action. Social-media sites, messaging links, app-store links, and link shorteners are not allowed as business links.1,2
A provider-backed setup is different from a manually added URL. The business opens Bookings and chooses a provider through the setup flow in its Business Profile. Google says the selected provider appears on the profile within a week. Select third-party provider links can lead customers to the provider’s website, so do not assume that every provider setup completes the booking inside Google.2,3 The Google Maps optimization guide covers the profile context, while the online-booking guide covers the setup paths.
For example, a salon with its own appointment page can add that URL as a Booking link, while a salon using a supported booking provider can select the provider under Bookings. Both connect the profile to a booking path, but they are not the same setup.2,3
The separate Reserve with Google surface has a public directory of integrations. Google directs prospective integrators to its developer documentation and interest form, while the directory describes viewing availability and making bookings with listed integrations. Google’s Actions Center documentation also lists different integration types for Appointments and Dining Reservations, so “provider integration” is not one single technical flow.5,6
The term does not promise that every business, country, link type, provider, or service is eligible. Google says a Business Profile must be verified before a business link can be added, some link types depend on country or region, providers are available by country, and custom links do not have performance data. Use the online-booking guide to choose between the paths and check the applicable rules.1,3
