Google Business Profile Help uses “reinstated” for this appeal-and-restoration process. Google says this restoration can include the profile and its owners and managers.1
Reinstatement is not initial verification, which is the separate step of adding or claiming an eligible profile and verifying it so customers can find it on Search and Maps.2 It is also distinct from a rejected-edit appeal and from review recovery. Google says a suspended or disabled profile must be reinstated before separate content decisions can be appealed.3 Review removal and review appeals follow Google's review-policy process instead.4 Google also says reviews might be removed after a profile is reinstated, and reviews removed for policy violations won't be restored.5 For example, an approved appeal that restores a suspended profile is reinstatement; verifying an unverified profile or appealing a removed review is a different action.
For a suspended profile, the Google Business Profile suspension appeal checklist covers the preparation and appeal path. The broader guide to fixing a Google Business Profile when it breaks or is suspended separates account restrictions, verification, and profile suspension. For reviews missing after reinstatement, see Google reviews that disappear or never show up.
